Keyboard shortcuts
On macOS, use Cmd. On Windows, use Ctrl.
In the message box
| Shortcut | What it does |

| Enter | Send your message. |
| Shift+Enter | Start a new line without sending. |
| / (at the start of the message) | Open Quick actions (Skills, Files). |
| Up / Down arrow, then Enter | Move through and choose items in the Skills list. |
| Esc | Close Quick actions or an open list. |
In the workspace panel

Supported attachment types
Cloud tasks:
- Images: PNG, JPEG, WebP, GIF, SVG
- Text and data: plain text files, JSON, XML
- Spreadsheets: Excel (
.xls,.xlsx,.xlsm,.xlsb) - Code files: for example,
.js,.ts,.py,.java,.cs,.cpp,.go,.rb,.php,.swift,.kt,.rs,.sh,.yaml, and.toml
Tasks on this computer: images only (PNG, JPEG, GIF, WebP).
Task statuses
| Status | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Queued | Waiting to start. |
| Running / Working | The agent is working. |
| Waiting for input / Needs input | The agent needs you, for example, to approve an action. |
| Needs PR details | The agent needs information to create a pull request. |
| Error / Failed | The task stopped because of a problem. |
| Completed | The agent has finished. |
Approval modes (tasks on this computer)

| Manual (default) | The agent asks before it runs a command or changes files. |
| Auto | The agent runs commands and changes files without asking. |
Where BoldCreate keeps its data
BoldCreate saves your sign-in, list of folders, approval settings, and history of your tasks on this computer in this folder:

Your saved sign-in is protected with your computer’s secure storage: Keychain on macOS or Credential Manager on Windows.
Note: Cloud tasks are stored in your BoldCreate account, not in this folder.
